On Thursday, May 2nd Troop 376 organized and completed the replacement of American Flags at the Ivandell & St Joseph’s Cemeteries in Somers on Veteran’s graves in preparation for Memorial Day.
Despite the rain, many Scouts, parents, friends, family & local Veterans came out to assist in the effort. Troop 376 has recently accepted this Community based responsibility from our VFW Post, which coordinated this activity in the past.
Troop 376 proudly accepted this responsibility and is one of the many ways we give back to our Veterans and the Somers community.
