The boys of 376 attending Philmont this summer participated in a practice hike and campout at Dunderberg Mountain in Harriman State Park this past weekend. The crew hiked the 3.5 miles up the mountain with their full gear. They prepared dinner with their backpack stoves, set up bear bags, braved swarms of spiders with egg sacs patrolling the campsite and survived a night in the pouring rain. Philmont here we come!
