It was a busy Thanksgiving weekend for BSA Troop 376!

On a crisp and sunny Thanksgiving morning, Somers BSA Troops 376 and 228 joined forces with the Somers Volunteer Fire Department to unload hundreds of trees in support of the SVFD’s annual Christmas tree sale at Fireman’s Field.  We and the SVFD wish to thank the following Troop 376 Scouts for helping:  Henry D., Ryan H., Matthew H., Jake K., Zach K., Liam M., Sam M., Jackson R., Reilly S., and Jayden S.

On Saturday morning, Webelos from Pack 1 joined us for our annual post-Thanksgiving hike.  It was a picture-perfect morning for exploring Levy Gorge and various ruins at nearby Leon Levy Preserve in Lewisboro.

Finally, Scouts gathered for an end-of-season cleanup at Todd Cemetery on Sunday (wrapping up an effort that began the weekend prior).  Troop 376 has been faithfully maintaining Todd Cemetery for the past 30 years.  Many thanks to the various Scouts who mowed over the summer and to the following Scouts for participating in the final cleanup:  Luc C., Henry D., Aidan K., and Reilly S.

We hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend and wish all of you a happy and healthy remainder of the holiday season!
