Announcements 4/22/2020

Just a recap of last night’s meeting and some announcements:

Summer Camp – If you haven’t signed up for merit badges yet, let me know and I will enter you into the system.

Rank Advancement – Be sure to let me know if you have completed a requirement and need an older Scout to sign off.  We have several Star and Life Scouts eager to work with you.

Service Hours – Our troop encourages our Scouts to look for ways to give back to our community.  “Do a Good Turn Daily” because you are a Scout, not because you need to “check a box”.  Scouts should contact me for approval before performing your service project.

Merit Badges – The Scouts that have participated in last week’s and this week’s meeting have completed requirements 1a, 1b, and 1c of the Cooking merit badge.  Make sure you fill out a blue card and keep track of your progress.  A lot of you are working on merit badges which is great.  Make sure you keep a record, let us know which merit badges you are taking and send us a filled out blue card.

Clothing Drive – Ethan is running a clothing drive for his service project.  Please consider donating what you can.  Please contact him at the theburnsfamily2005@yahoo.com

SPCA Drive –

Dear Troop 376,

As you know I am making dog chew toys for the SPCA of Westchester. Please donate any old t-shirts, flannel shirts, sweat shirts/pants, fleeces, or anything you may have that I can cut up and make into a chew toy for a dog. The larger sizes are better.

Please bring your donated items to Peter’s house located at __
