Explore the wonders of our world…
Discovery is at the heart of Scouting. Whether it’s a campout, a hike on the trail, or a boat on the water, every adventure helps us uncover a little more about ourselves. Scouting builds the foundations for humility and compassion—strengthening character through actions—to prepare youth for a lifetime of leadership.

…and learn invaluable skills…
There is no youth program quite like Scouts BSA, which offers leadership development, teaches citizenship and responsibility, embeds useful outdoor survival skills, can spark career interests, and boasts exciting activities that few outside of Scouting have the opportunity to experience.

…with a Troop celebrating a rich 30-year history.
Founded in 1992 by seven boys and six parents, Troop 376 has since produced 74 Eagle Scouts, proudly offering a well-balanced “Adult-Guided, Youth-Led” program that includes activities for all skill levels and interests. Our Troop offers overnights at nearby campgrounds like Durland Scout Reservation in Putnam Valley and Alpine Scout Camp in New Jersey, as well as signature excursions to exclusive locations like Gettysburg and Block Island. We have hiked the Appalachian Trail and have experienced the epic majesty of the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. We do biking excursions, rock climbing, ropes courses, fishing trips, ski trips, bowling nights, and many other fun activities. There is no shortage of opportunities for us to pursue!

With dedicated adult leaders…
Troop 376’s Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, and Troop Committee members are all trained volunteers (most are parents of current or former Scouts) who are fully vested and dedicated to providing our Scouts the coaching and support they need to plan and execute activities, learn new skills, advance in rank, and achieve their individual Scouting goals.

…and engaged, enthusiastic Scouts…
Our Scouts are our future. Every aspect of our program is geared toward preparing them for life in a fun and engaging way. The more a Scout engages in the program, the more they will get out of it. We are extremely proud of our Scouts in Troop 376 – each brings their own energy, enthusiasm, smiles, ideas, and unique perspectives to the group, and we are all the stronger for it. Our Scouts enjoy ample opportunities for direct involvement and leadership, as well as a significant voice in suggesting future troop activities.

…Troop 376 is a place where boys can learn, grow, and most importantly, have fun.
