Matthew Hirsch passed his Eagle Scout Board of Review last night to become Somers BSA Troop 376’s 78th Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, Matthew coordinated the construction of wooden steps along a particularly steep portion of a hiking trail at Rhinoceros Creek Reservation in Somers, NY. The steps made this portion of the trail far more accessible for many who would otherwise struggle with the incline.
